How many people do you know who are living with decent habits, but yet still seem to never get ahead?
I think what we’re seeing here is the difference between decent habits and successful habits. Every successful person can look back and reason that they are successful because they have successful habits. Just the same for any unsuccessful person their circumstances are the fruit of unsuccessful habits.
In light of building successful habits, many times we begin with baby steps.
If a person is not a good saver of money and wants to start building this trait, they can start by putting one-quarter a day into a bucket.
Perhaps in a month raise it two-quarters; the next month, one dollar, and just keep doubling it every month until they’ve reached their goal.
The whole point is the habit. Not how small or how big your investment is, but that you are building a successful habit that’s consistent without fail.
But here’s the danger.
